We'll walk around Finca La Labor, one of the Urban Farms standing in Guatemala City and discover the different varietals, farming techniques & identify how the seed develops during the year.
This will all impact in your cup of coffee taste!
Have you ever seen or touched a coffee cherry? You'll be able to experience the wet process full hands on, and discover how the cherry turns into coffee beans and appreciate the amazing views from the drying patios.
We will then move to the dry process, where the beans get sorted and get the name of parchment.
Welcome to the dry process, in order to get a well balanced cup of coffee, the beans need to be carefully classified. You'll discover the process that allows the coffee roasters reach the ideal roast for your morning coffee.
When we talk about specialty coffee, quality control is a must! Enjoy a coffee cupping session at our certified lab, you'll get to learn how to use your sensory skills to evaluate a cup of coffee.
